Fountain Valley Corps
The Fountain Valley Corps/Church was started in 1995 by Captains John and Judy Bennet and four soldiers from the Colorado Springs Corps. The congregation grew spiritually and numerically under there leadership.
In 1999 the Fountain Valley Corps welcomed newly commissioned Officers, Captains Roy and Paula Wild. Under the Wild's leadership the Corps moved into its current building at 901 N. Santa Fe. As the congregation grew the meeting area was expanded to meet their needs.
In 2003 Captain's Rio and Rachel Ray came to their first appointment with dreams and new commission in hand. The Ray's currently serve as the pastors/administrators of The Salvation Army Church and Outreach in Fountain, fulfilling the goal, "Heart to God, hand to man."
